Intego, a company that sells security software for Macs, is saying that they’ve found a trojan virus called OSX.Trojan.iServices.A Trojan Horse, in pirated versions of iWork 09. Intego says that the virus has the ability to make changes to the system files and other applications because it has administrator/root privelages. The virus is supposed to allow the computer to be accessed from remote locations as well.

E-Geniuses has not yet verified the legitimacy of this, but we feel that it is our job to inform you of potential hazards. We will update this posting when more evidence is found.
