At E-Geniuses, we’re delighted to receive feedback from our clients (good and bad!). It’s always helpful to know what we’re doing right and to know what we could be doing better. We received a great email this week from Judi, a client in Covina, CA. This is one of our favorite client testimonials. Her letter illustrates one of our main goals: building long-time relationships with our clients. We’ve included it in its entirety below:
LETTER FROM A SATISFIED CUSTOMER
I was rambling on about the problems with my computer one day to my best friend when she mentioned E-Geniuses.
“E-Geniuses?” I questioned. “What in the heck are they
“You know,” my best friend said, “they fix computers and stuff. You know, the guy that comes to my house every six months or so when I have a problem.”
“Oh,” I said. “That guy. I’ll pass.”
That conversation occurred a little more than a year ago. I kept listening as my friend kept telling me about this Joey guy, but didn’t make a move until, about seven months ago when I noticed my computer was getting slower by the hour. I could get up, get a glass of iced tea, visit the restroom and still come back with something downloading. And one day with my frustration level causing my blood pressure to rise, and thinking it surely was time for a new computer, I finally called the number on the card I’d been holding for all those months. And here’s what happened.
Joey Mariano of E-Geniuses came to my house, took a quick survey of my computer, and said he knew he could improve the performance so I didn’t have to buy a new computer. I wasn’t too sure I believed him with my six year old monster, but the price was right (much less than a new computer) so I said, “Go for it.” I could hardly believe the difference once he left. It was as if I really did have a new computer…much faster, much more efficient and actually fun to be on again.
Just recently, I wanted to move into downloading movies onto my TV from Netflix. Again thinking I’d have to get a new computer to handle it, Joey told me that wasn’t necessary. He set up to watch Netflix movies on my TV (which I’m having a great deal of fun with), and also introduced me to Hulu.com for watching TV programs on my computer should I miss one of my favorites. .
Joey tells me he can probably keep my computer running for life if I want it. Don’t know about that. Even I like new things once in a while. But for now, my little computer is humming away smoothly and if anyone should ask me, “What the heck is E-Geniuses?” I can confidently say, “The best, most reasonable computer service you could have!”
