A Genius Education September 17, 2011

Education is very important to us and we have implemented a new idea in our business system. We have implemented a 10 week course, much like that of the colleges and universities of today. However, a passing grade must be 90% or better. We call this our Genius-U and our curriculum consists of two projects. One project consists of knowledge and research. The other project is more of a fun and interactive project. Our newest idea is something we would like to call Genius-U, or, Genius University, a place to get a genius education.

Since I believe to have certain strengths when it comes to dealing with the customer, I have been given two books to read as my first project. The books are called, “Getting Things Done” by: David Allen, and “Getting to Yes” by: Roger Fisher. Both seem to be very interesting reads and will help instill confidence within myself to become better at sales and dealing with people. The other project I have been given is to rebuild an entire computer using all of the knowledge and research that I can find to create a good working computer. I have always been interested in what our technicians do, and I decided to help improve my tech skills to give aid to the technicians when we become very busy. I hope to become a better manager, person, and technician.

Jose’s two projects consist of sales and learning how to set up a server with multiple users. Jose is very personable and a very quick learner. His favorite Core Value is, “Appreciate What You Have and Make the Most of It.” He definitely lives by this statement by accepting this challenge with Genius-U. His technical skills are very good and he has become an integral part of what we do here. His personality is much like mine, in that, he is easy going but loves to work hard and accept challenges. His research with both projects will help extend his knowledge of being  a technician, and his readings and research will improve his techniques of sales.

Joey Mariano’s projects consist of meditation and franchising. When owning any business, stress is evident. Joey strives for success on an everyday basis, constantly multi-tasking, dealing with people, and trying to run a successful business. We spoke constantly of challenges for his projects. The company thought it would be best to alleviate some of the stress which comes with running a business. So, we have Joey doing research and practicing the art of meditation, to improve his stress level, and keep his mind clear. This, in turn will help him think clearly and concentrate on franchising the business. This has been our dream from the beginning, and with the success of all of our projects, our business model will help turn our small company into one of the best companies in the world.

We here at E-Geniuses would like to thank all of our clients for helping us grow tremendously throughout the years.  To our businesses and friends who have supported us, thank you for motivating us to become better and constantly improve every day. We constantly find new ways of challenging ourselves to become better at every aspect of our jobs and lives. If we have not stressed it enough, thank you to all of you who support us and keep us in business.
