Computer Repair for Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) Students

We happen to get a lot of students from FIDM since our main office is near, only  a block away from the campus. We received a call from a person who was having a problem with their laptop not turning on. Since she needed it for school it was important that she get it repaired as soon as possible.

The problem ended up being the adaptor. We found one and purchased it. We also offered to optimize the computer by removing unecessary startup items and upgrading the RAM by 1GB.

The client was happy that not only was her computer working, it was also much more responsive than it was before.

Another common issue with students is their hard drives fail and they do not have backups. Make sure to always backup your important data. Hard drives will eventually fail.
