Want to learn how to make the most out of that software suite you spent hundreds of dollars on but cannot find the time? E-Geniuses offers one-on-one tutoring packages. Our experienced Tutors can guide you in a way that is comprehensible, concise and complete. We understand that everyone learns differently. We customize our sessions to each client’s learning patterns. We promise that you will learn more in the two to three hours of one-on-one tutoring, than you would in a week in a classroom environment. Tutoring is done remotely and via telephone. The software that we use allows us to see what you see on the screen. We can also take control of the mouse and keyboard when you need extra assistance. We start by showing you by example. Then you repeat the process until the action-steps are memorized.

After the session, we will send you notes, specific to your lesson, which you can use if you need to refresh your memory. Of course, practice and repetition is the key to true mastery. Here are some of the Tutoring Packages we offer. Keep in mind that sessions can be tailored to accomplish a client’s specific goals.

Email and Internet: Get the most out of your email client by using mailing lists, optimized image attachments, and web-based and client-based email. Maximize your search effectiveness in Google by using Boolean searches.

Multimedia: Learn to use iTunes or Windows Media Player to download music, create custom playlists and then burn them to CD or transfer them to you iPod or other portable MP3 player. Learn how to organize, manipulate and edit your pictures and movies. From there, you can upload them and send them to friends or create a high quality DVD.

Office Suite: Learn how to create and edit Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents. Learn how to save in PDF and other formats to ensure maximum compatibility across all computer systems.

Basic Computing: Learn how to navigate around your Windows or Mac operating system. Some points of learning include launching applications, finding and organizing files, installing and removing software, updating software, mouse and keyboard shortcuts and customizing preferences.
